The grey M80 Vertigo flight bag has been made specially for electric bass guitars with maximum length of 48-inches and a maximum width of 14.5-inches. Thoughtfully developed in collaboration with real-life bassists, the M80 Series bags offer the perfect balance between protection and functionality.
The Mono M80 Vertigo Flight Bag: Protection
Tucked up inside the Mono M80 Vertigo, your sensitive bass is fully protected from the elements. Constructed using a 100% waterproof material dubbed 'Sharkskin' and sealed by just as waterproof heavy-duty zips, this bag is even reinforced by extra strong shock-proof panels to protect your bass, even if it falls. To prevent it from falling at all, a thick rubber layer with a textured profile has even been fitted to the base of the bag to serve as a kind of stabilising 'foot'.
Loading Out and On the Road
The M80 Vertigo can be comfortably carried using the robust side-fitted handle or the backpack-style shoulder straps. Once your bass has been slotted inside, rather than securing it with fastening straps, a special neck grip is provided to tightly hug and hold it securely in place, and has the added benefit of making removing your bass that bit easier. Naturally, a few useful pockets have been integrated into the design and are ready to store cables, pedals, strings, and all the other trappings of bass-playing life.

Mooie tas, mooie materialen en lekker stevig. Van boven insteken is erg handig. En inderdaad de onderkant stuitert.
MAAR,,,, gisteren de waterdichtheid getest op de fiets, 10 minuten in een hollandse regenbui.
Helaas, de tas zou door de sharkskin waterafstotend moeten zijn maar de buitenkant was doorweekt.
Na inspectie van de binnenkant bleek er water onderin de tas te staan. Niet echt bevoordelijk voor een electrische bas. De ritsen zijn zeker niet regenbestendig en ook niet afgedekt.
Jammer deze tas juist aangeschaft voor zijn waterafstotendheid.
Dus wanneer je een mooie tas zoekt die goede bescherming biedt tegen stoten en vallen is dit de perfecte tas. Zoek je een tas die ook waterdicht moet zijn, moet je deze niet kopen.
Nu opzoek naar een wAterdichte hoes voor mijn bastas.

Great bag in so many ways especially the top loading function and the shock resistant foot..
I have had one for a few years..
But give it ONLY 3 STARS because in use, my biggest irritation is that the handle is critically in the wrong place - not tested for correct and appropriate Centre of Gravity! Even my bog-standard P-bass (ie. of a common standard weight) carries bout heavy easily banging on the ground forcing me to grip the handle in an awkward way in an effort to get it to carry horizontally in a relaxed and comfortable orientation.. Funny how some designers are all about flash but neglect the Human Interaction (Ergonomics) and the people that have to live with their product every day.. Sad.
So my recommendation is to MONO: please pay attention to the important detail of this awful omission in your design!
